These figures represent the different Germanic Tribes that invaded Britannia following the withdrawl of the Roman Legions in 410AD. Often called Anglo Saxons, they include Saxons, Angles, Franks, Frisians and Geats. Their invasion, though held up in the early 6th Century by the legendary leader Arthur, eventually became the England we know today.
